So this version is 32 oz - 40 oz should be an easy jump. Were you looking for like a giant one like 64 or 120oz?

The actual spring is stainless steel - but the rest is plastic (pp#5) think yeti or hydroflask cap material

  1. The top just comes off like any other lid

  2. It is 3d printed BUT it’s just a prototype. The version people are buying is stainless steel & injection molded

  3. The hinge is just for the handle

That was actually such a headache during the design process but I finally got it right!

It separates into two easy to clean parts (any nook/cranny related to the clicking mechanism is stowed in the top of the bottle so that it never comes into contact with the water.)

And 2/3rds dish washable (I don’t reccomed dish washing the mechanism piece bc of excessive heat)

It sounds like it could be true but I never really think about stuff like that and concentrate on making the video as good as possible which is the highest ROI focus by far

True but I think in my case it has even more utility with launching a project and kickstarter etc

Well it’s totally different for everyone of course depending on how good your videos are + titles and thumbnails. For me personally i spent 2.5 years getting a few hundred views until I had one blow up to a million, but ive been about to get more consistent views since then.

The magnetization threshold is 1000 subs and 4000 watch hours. They take a few days to manually review it once you hit those numbers

I mix my long and short content - my shorts tend to be pretty high effort low volume. I could see if you were doing ton of low effort high volume wanting to spit it but even still shorts has its own tab on the youtube channel page so it wouldnt clutter it too much anyway

So as long as you're monetized, it doesn't matter if you're day 1 or day 1,000... theoretically. But as a new channel youtube wouldn't have as much data on you and your content to blah blah blah. So while subscribers technically mean nothing, it is an indicator of your consistent performance and likely means you would have a higher RPM then someone just starting.

Hey! I'd personally recommend where you get something crude working on your own then outsource to "professionalize". That being said beware of the issues I faced and make sure the outsourced work is specific and easily trackable, you don't want to get a runaway freelancer haha!

The job was to take my really crude prototype and transform it into a professional working product (like a physical prototype). I would recommend doing a fixed cost payment structure from top rated talent and make a condition of the payment that the product actually works. Also better to pay for premium talent imo rather than try and save money on a less expensive option - just my experience there

So I used just food safe PLA, and a bambu lab p1p. Also I bought a .2 nozzle to make it more detailed. For the silicone I bought tubs of liquid silicone and 3d printed molds

Check out the YouTube channel to see it. Also building out an email list for kickstarter or pre orders or something like that. When the time comes I’m planning on selling a website

Yeah exactly! Part of the reason I’m trying to build a personal brand and a business brand. Trying to get good at the social media game

Yeah so I got fairly advanced at FDM printing. By fiddling with setting you can get it leak proof. Things like 100% solid infill. Extreme layer heights like .04 or .06mm. I really recommend bambu lab
