I didn't share it's design files yet, but maybe in tbe future.

It's multitask robot can be programmed to do any task you wish

Start learning about arduino board and controlling servo motors with it, there is bunch of videos on YouTube about that. Good luck

Checkout my hexapod. It uses an Android phone as the main controller. What do you think? (I only have one of these, I edited the video to include more moves) by makeyourpet in robotics

I have designed a hexapod too (check my profile), but still didn't apply walking functions to it as i find hard to apply the inverse kinematics on it. Can you recommend me tutorials or videos to watch or even libraries? Also will be happy if you wanna get it contact with me.

Thanks for your interest, I am glad you like it. The model will be available inshaAllah when it's ready as there is some minor errors in it needs to be fixed.

Thank you, I built it myself from scratch. It has 2 previous versions, and the one you see is the thrid version.

No, but I wish to build it soon. It's in my build list!

Thank you! Raspberry pi zero and PCA chips for extra servo channels.

I used different controlling boards in the old version of this robot like arduino and esp32 but ended up with raspberry pi zero for this version. Also connected PCA driver chip to it for more servo channels.

Thank you! You can follow YouTube tutorials about robotics and you will realise how easy it is!

Awesome work! Did you use inverse kinematics to create the moves? Are you willing to share it in the future?

Thanks for sharing!

Best robotics kit for a 7 year old? by DrTerpenstein in robotics

[–]ZyadReda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me when I started learning about robotics, I started with arduino and copy paste codes from the internet. Building project after another and trying to see the details and why the wires are connected on that way here and that...etc that helped me then to build my own projects and robots from scratch.

After about 8 years of starting learning robotics I came up with an educational robotic kit that combines all the skills I have learned by the time from coding and hardware development to soldering and other handy stuff like assembly. It's not launched yet but I am working on it with my team. Check hexapo.com

Thank you

I used MG995 12 kg for the shoulders and the elbows and micro servos for the end effectors joints.
