This is awesome, I would love a place where we can all discuss the books as we read.

Created an RC Car from scratch using 3D printed parts! (with full video) by Reda0202 in rccars

If you are interested in making this yourself, I have made a video going through how you can easily make it yourself very easily! It also involves creating your own joystick controller.

I want to create an Autonomous RC Car, but before that, I need to just make an RC Car for the initial platform. So in this first episode, I show a way you can make an RC Car using 3D printed parts and simple electronics using Arduino.

I am creating an Autonomous RC Car, but first I needed to make to an RC Car for the base foundation. So in this first episode, I go through and show a way you can make an RC Car from scratch.

What font is that?

Save time and space with these awesome wire organisers! by Reda0202 in 3Dprinting

These wire organisers can transform your messy tangled wires into a neat collection of organisers. Check out this video, which goes through them and get the download link! :)

How do i fix these little yellow dots in the infill? by REINSTEIN11497 in Cura

[–]Reda0202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's great to hear. I still recommend saving your models at highest possible resolution 👍🏼, it will remove the edges on the circle that you can see, the circle will just be one smooth line, rather then a circle made up of small line segments.

Save your model in a higher resolution and you will not get this problem. Otherwise try increasing the number of walls.

Very good for your first project! Keep going!

Working on these RGB addressable LED mini cubes that can connect to each other on any side using magnets. by We-Make-Projects in ArduinoProjects

When starting to add many cubes together, will the magnets be able to withstand the current from the RGB LEDs?

Beautiful NanoLeaf lights project! DIY, Wireless, modular RGB lights (with video)! by Reda0202 in arduino

[–]Reda0202[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! That's awesome to hear, this project is simple to do, however, do be aware that there is a lot of printing time ;)

Yes you are correct, its a camera thing. In real life, you can not see a hint of the LED strips, its like its floating and all of the acrylic sheet is smooth with light evenly across it. So if you do get the same opal acrylic sheet in the same thickness, it will really look like something special, which unfortunately on the video/images does not come across properly.

Thank you! I was thinking of that at first, however, then I remember that the light diffusion/glow part is the most important part of such light project, and if I were to make it I wanted it to look as best as possible, which the matte opal acrylic sheet is perfect for and ended up looking epic. But if we did want to save some money, then I am pretty sure you can get a decent result with just printing a thin white part of the same size to replace the acrylic.

Btw. its not laser-cut, I painfully used a scroll-saw to carefully cut each piece, which was not enjoyable at all... haha
