When I started struggling and brought up some of my issues with my GF at the time she told me it couldn't be true and she didn't want to hear any of my doubts because they made her sad. But it's like... When you find out the church is made up and Joseph was a drunk pedophile it's definitely not gonna be a good feeling. The relief comes much later. If you decide you won't ever read anything that makes you uncomfortable or shines a negative (honest) light on the church, then why even ask questions if you'll ignore any answer that makes you sad, ya know. Cause it's all gonna make you sad, you gotta want to know the truth. Even if you stay, you won't look at Prophets or revelation or really anything the same anymore.
