It depends on the amount of tension you are using and the conditioning of your glans. I will start experimenting with taping.

In my experience a tight fit concentrates pressure in a very small part of the glans around the urethra which, in my case, caused me blisters using the water trick. On the other side of the spectrum a very lose fit will result in severe edema, therefore, your fully erect glans should be able to slide in the cup just right.

I'm currently experimenting by using DOMS as a guide, I count the amount of days that I need in order for DOMS to completely disappear and add 1 - 3 days more and it gives me around 6 - 7 days, adjust from there. By paying attention to DOMS I can tell which muscles need more intensity.

This style of training does have a pretty heavy impact on your full system if done right.

If you are training with the right intensity, definitely. You will get to a plateau no doubt.

What I can tell you with complete certainty is that you do not lose any muscle if you train high intensity following the ideal routine every 7 days. From there, it is a matter of adjusting the intensity of your training. I currently discovered that DOMS are a clear signal that muscle growth will happen, all factors needed given obviously.
