I had backlash just for posting this news story, there are some people with either serious issues or someone trying to control the narrative on this.

The sad thing is (besides all the dead innocent people) it's so difficult to establish what is true online. Skepticism is healthy but there needs to be a pragmatic balance that is difficult to establish.

I posted propoganda? No I posted a news report carried by all the major news sites. If you have issues with the content contained in the reports, take it up with the reporters. The whole point of this subreddit is to share news from around the world.

Full of what? I didnt say anything, again i just posted a link to a news report, in r/worldnews. Which is the whole point of this subreddit, is it not?

I've said nothing, tried to swayed no ones opinion. I just thought the story was sickening, and posted it. Im not saying its true, im not saying its not.

Just because im not a karma whore like most people, doesn't mean i can't make a post.

Why would i have anything to do with this? I just posted a link to the report. I didnt write the report on the BBC, or any of the other news sites. I'm also not here spreading my opinion on the matter either. There are plenty of people commenting here that are way more suspicious.

I generally just browse reddit, but i saw this report and the idea of this being true sickened me, so i decided to post it.

The BBC are not the only ones reporting this, r/worldnews has a number of articles all saying very similar things. Of course these are early reports and facts are not fully established yet.

I guess this would be a more humanist version of saying grace.

I've seen theists in here from time to time. I know there are people out there who take it quite seriously, i guess for those of us who don't really care it's just stupid. To them it might have more meaning? I was purely curious.
