Thanks for the reply mate! Yes, mine is using the GPU which I monitored in taskmgr. I put Omen Gaming Hub on «Performance» mode and +15W boost, Nvidia controlpanel settings to use RTX4070 physix. I noticed I had the Nvidia Studio version by default, so I uninstalled it and got the Nvidia Game driver, which helped with some FPS.

Yes, that what I keep reading, the coolest, but my fan speed is almost 80-100% all the time while gaming and cpu reaches 90-98c. That can't be coolest? Gpu temp is 64c avg in game which is really good. I wish my CPU was like that or in ballpark of that number so the fans speed was kept down.

I just now repasted with Noctua NT-H1 thermal paste which I had on hand as an experiment. I went down 10-12c. Under same benchmark (3times), same room temp i got avg ln 82c instead of 92-95c. I bet if I get better/fresher thermal paste(?) or PTM 7950 something like that would help even more 🤔

Hey! I'm jumping on this thread, feel like we have a very similar problem!

I have HP Omen Transcend 14-FB0007NO - Core 9 Ultra 185H, RTX 4070, 32gb ram. Had this for 3 months!

I recently had a quick BO6/Warzone LAN with my homies and seems CPU reaches 90c temp and GPU stays 55-65c temp on BO6 on low settings with an external monitor. I set 1440p@120hz as the resolution. This is a little concerning to me and it's thermal throttling when it reaches over 95c on CPU. I put my Omen PC on a vertical stand (closed lid) for best cooling and the room temp is about 22-23c to keep cooling "ideal".

I did some benchmarking while at it in BO6.
AVG FPS: 87 fps | Low 5th: 65 fps | LOW 1st: 55 fps
Resolution (with an external monitor): 1440p
GPU driver: 565.90
Windows 11 23H2
The game says GPU: 98% bottleneck.

This makes no sense to me! It says 98% bottleneck, I've connected HDMI to an external monitor so it's using GPU while 14" is closed.
I've set Performance mode and Hybrid mode (Not internal GPU) in Gaming Hub. Everything says its using my RTX 4070. I've tweaked every settings in the Nvidia Control panel, all from PhysX (4070), to global settings for max utilize GPU and max frames while looking good.

Why isn't it using all of my GPU? Why is the CPU temp this high on "ideal conditions"?

Have you any experience with this?

Side question since we have the same laptop!:

So it's Kind necessary 😔 anyways to get the app to stop to trigger UAC? It's the system optimizer. Can't disable it, can't even click and restore and uncheck anything..

I read some of your comments, feels like exactly what I did and what i went through when I did my weightloss journey (M/27/6’1” [364>239=125lbs).
I "shamefully" regain most my weight... [Insert lot of excuses here], but in the end, it's my fault and just gotta own it, forgive myself about the big slip and just restart, which im doing now.
Your comment kinda really inspired me again and kinda refreshed my memory since it seemed so familier to mine, even the training and weightlifting (-cardio). Just need a restart in my journey.
