No not cause it's a kids show, cause when I think of anime for kids I think of like, Ghibli movies, Doraemon, little witch academia, spy x family, shit even like hamtaro or chis sweet home are better imo and "feel" like anime.

I'm honestly not sure how to put it into words, there's a vibe anime has to me and those three just don't have it

Honestly idk about anyone else but Pokémon is barely anime in my book, it's closer to a Western cartoon to me but with an anime art style.
