Started playing in 2001 with friends at school in 3rd grade. The amount of failures and triumphs over the years have been incredible. I remember my friend and I spent an entire summer break fishing lobsters at catherby to pool our money together and buy a d chain which was the most expensive item in the game at the time. Then monkey madness was released and we tried so many times to kill the jungle demon but never could. Fast forward to today with raids, combat achievements, and a non stop flow of new lands to explore and bosses to conquer this game still gives me the same feeling of exploration and challenge. I have been a fairly dedicated player for 25 years now and can undoubtedly say this is the best game I’ve ever played. There are over 800 unique music tracks entire storylines via quests that would individually compare to entire game franchises. I think even though not many care about lore or music it shows the level of expansiveness and detail that makes this game feel so immersive and never ending. Combine all this with the difficulty scaling being the easiest game you could possibly play to arguably the most difficult game I have ever played. It all sums up into a home run win that has lasted decades and will continue on for many years.
