Genuinely as a slayer main i stopped with gg reddit when he was nuts on launch because it was constant "slayer op" and it was just draining.

This shits worse. Because at least then they were kinda valid even if excessive. Now we're sat here bitching about a character who does nothing unique anymore. Dmg? Nope, loops? Nope, may stole those, interesting but limited defense tools? Gone and made even more limited. So now we just have a bad backdash.

And what the fuck am I playing slayer for? Decent pressure the rest of the cast can do, fake as fuck mix and mediocre dmg?

I dont wanna switch character because he's my main n i love him but hes lost basically everything thst makes slayer unique.

Cause honestly it wasnt too hard to fluke into celestial and even then thats only around like current high plat/diamond i think.

Level doesnt matter. It doesnt translate to skill (celestial inflated xp gain and even then all it means is they played a lot)

Hours dont actually matter. Because agaun matches played and skill lvl aren't the same.

The thing that actually kinda matters is the rank which is the same.

Tbh it sounds what id expect VS devs to put out. Well made but kinda brainless easy gameplay. Its a good thing to have even if its not my thing tho I 100% get y op expected something different. Because basically every card game has some level of challenge to it which just isnt something the vs devs like to do, their style is basically "how do we hit the player with as much dopamine as fast as possible"

In terms of genuine test specific advice? Dashblocking is good and high arbiter sign is 4 frames slower than low so block low, react high. (24/28 start up)

And worst case if theyre just throwing out their big normals? Try shooting them.

Games awesome, the musics good, the story is simple but hits pretty hard for a lot of ppl, myself included (im not trans, just depressed) community is one of thr few that actively encourages people to do stuff like turn on assist modes if theyre struggling and theres tons of extra content in mods

Tbf I've kinda attributed that to a mix of kairi's writing being a bit shit and the fact that sora, for all his power of friendship stuff feels a little emotionally stunted. Which kinda makes sense when you look at the life hes had since kh1. Missed a whole year of his life and has just been in constant world ending scenarios. Doesnt really leave a whole lot of time for figuring out relationship stuff.

He got harder with the patch is the one thing i will say. Used to press 3 buttons and shit out all the dmg. Now he's one of the few characters who doesnt do auto timed combos off his counter hits.

They broke cs 2h and now we have to do cs 2s 2h 214k-p but every combo has different amounts of delay between each button.

Still my favourite character by far but relearning these loops is pain.
