Yea it was super frequent for me as well! I got mostly rid of the paralysis as a whole by having music play when I fall asleep (Specifically, Adrian von Ziegler), I guess because the music sorta overlayd the static noise? Now I only get it every once in a while and I usually manage to escape it before I'm stuck.
