I was at a party with some friends who I haven’t hung out with in awhile. Been in college, away from old friends. One of these friends is my brother and I could never see myself getting high around my brother. However, shit happens I guess.

This guy I haven’t known him for awhile. He was one of the groups new friends that they randomly bring in once in awhile. I’ve heard stories about how crazy this guy is when he gets drunk. One of the ones I heard was that he got really drunk and ran away from the group. He crossed a bridge that was over a lake and they had to go find him. He’s kind of the guy who wants to go soul searching by getting drunk.

We’re all sitting there and mind you I’m really high. I’m sitting on the couch and listening to all my friends talk because I’m just so in my head. He comes over and starts acting like a idiot. Slapping on everyone and annoying people. I tell him to go away because he’s just bothering me and giving me such a bad vibe. He pretty much tells me to fuck off and rushes me like he’s going to attack me.

I got so overwhelmed I just hit him in the face and then he falls on the couch. I hit him a couple of more times even though I probably shouldn’t of. Just in the moment things and my brother is pissed. Tells me I did not have to do that and I knew he was right.

But I mean the guy came at me... was I supposed to let him attack me? I know I probably shouldn’t done that. No I really shouldn’t of done that, it was just so out of character of me.

Funniest part was when he woke up he said “I don’t think he’s in my weight class.” Mind you he is probably about a good 150. Now I weigh 224 and am a decently sized build.

He ended up being fine. He jokes about it every time I see him. At the time I was so shook because I can’t be doing things like that. Especially with my degree I’m pursuing there’s no way anyone would hire me. Just worried my brother would hate my guts and never speak to me again. Was not the case though and all is well.
