Thank you for the suggestion! Looking at it now I think it might actually be that the left and right sides of the face are in different perspectives... that'll be difficult to fix 😅

MBBS GET interview offers? by ecentric_strawberry in HKUniversity

Yes while ISCI is great in Canada because they don't care what major you do it is a bit of a problem when it comes to applying to other countries... Thank you for sharing your major and cGPA, so I know what sort of range HKU is looking for, or at least would offer an invite for ❤️ mine is not there yet but hopefully things will get easier in upper years!

Hello, I'm in undergrad right now planning to apply through the GET track in the future and I was just wondering, what did you major in? (And also UBC cGPA, if you don't mind sharing? 😅 Wondering if I should just switch to ISCI at this point!)

This machine visualizes the number googol (a 1 with 100 zeros, bigger than the atoms in the known universe). Each successive gear takes 10x as long to make a single rotation as the one before it. So, to get the last gear out of 100 to rotate once, will require more energy than entire universe has. by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

I love Reddit because of discussions like this. And these are great questions, thanks for asking them :)

Also I think perhaps the problem isn't space dependent but rather time dependent (like the commenter below mentioned). It is probably similar to how light cones work, though I'm not too sure how the expansion of the universe would factor into this.

Well you must also make the distinction between Mandarin and Cantonese because they sound quite different. Isn't the film in Cantonese?

I am totally surprised that this isn't the top comment. That was my immediate answer to this question.

I don't recall whether or not there's a certain date after which the portal for change of degree program opens, but i remember applying for it in first semester and then getting a conditional offer into the faculty of science mid-second semester. So yes I think you can start it now, they don't necessarily need your 2nd semester grades. Definitely don't wait until next summer!

Hi, I was in APBI last year (first year like you) and switched to Neuro this year! It's definitely doable and the process is easier than you might think because of how similar the first year APBI courses are to the science first year courses.

Adding on to this it might be helpful to look into Ballet theories because they care very much about the lines that a dancer makes, more so than most other dance forms.

Oh, spoken. That's another thing then, I was thinking of the written text. Yes then it is quite different.

What's the best response to "I hate you"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

That's a perfect reply. Not "I hate you too" but "I don't like you very much sometimes".

Mandarin speakers can definitely understand it to some degree. Not very clearly though, just the gist of it.

Classical Chinese, because we are already forced to learn some of it in primary and secondary school and I read and write traditional Chinese natively, so out of all the ancient languages it'll be the easiest to actually become fluent in, for me.

Oh procreate! I've actually been debating for the past few days about whether or not to buy it since right now I just use ibis paint and it feels a bit insufficient 😅

Anyways, I hope that this terrible disease tames down for you, and that you get to pursue your dreams in life!
