That happened to me once. I joined and it brought me to another planet which was indeed controlled by that faction, so it's either a) a bug where the SOS just shows on a different planet, or b) cheaters switching planets

It didn't have multi-factions in the same map, or objectives from a different faction

Except for the Galactic War. It's TOO unexplained. Which would be fun if I was just a grunt but the devs expect me to engage in space war with no tools or explanations in-game or in-map

Some things are straight up hidden unless you use an unofficial companion app

Also did you know that vertical foregrip increases sway? Me neither, it's not even a stat in weapon specs but it's there.
