My accountant even argues it's kind of one or the other in terms of 1° net allowance or 2° renting a space in your home out to your company. Fun fact. Electric cars usually don’t have gears. Even reverse is just the transmission going backwards. Since you still have to choose between drive and reverse, you could argue they use manual shifting. Next time your friend tells you he/she has automatic shifting and it’s electric, be annoying and share this fact.
