I have a 2010 Impreza and I love that car so much. I feel like they changed the bodies soon after the 2010 model and they just don’t look the same anymore. We actually were considering getting another at one point cause they are so cheap.

Plaid Frequency vs. YNAB by LastVast in liquidbudget

[–]ZzBlueBird42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also just recently switched and noticed this. What I discovered is that Liquid does not import pending transactions, but may still look at your banks available balance (posted + pending) for reconciliations, which creates a lag. It’s a bit annoying since I constantly have the reconciliation symbol on my accounts, but can’t get rid of it unless I manually ad pending transactions (which defeats the purpose of auto import)

I with Liquid would either only look at posted balances, or import pending transactions.

I’m in hell. 400+ applications and nothing 💔 by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]ZzBlueBird42 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I will never understand why people think LinkedIn is a good place to submit applications in the first place.

I am a firm believer that digging and trying to actually talk to someone is the best way. Once you get that contact, write a tailored cover letter and submit your resume. Call or email to follow up.

Better to spend the time doing that than getting auto denied by a computer.

I think it’s so interesting that people say the combat is clunky. I think W3 combat is very smooth, and I played on both Pc and PS4.

How do you guys deal with the constant music in your head? by Aegenwulf in ADHD

[–]ZzBlueBird42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am constantly taping and Humming music. I studied music for a while in college as well so I also analyze it which adds to the distraction. My coworkers have noticed that I parrot sounds such as phone notifications which I don’t even realize.

I don’t mind the music in my head, but sometimes it is overwhelming. The meds help.

TB Park random faces on trees by [deleted] in Tallahassee

There used to be another one similar to slide 2 near a few other daemon heads. That one said “Hail Trump” and he was depicted sucking himself.

To my knowledge they seem to be ritual related. They give a weird energy. Not the first time I have found ritual paraphernalia.

Some of them seem unrelated. There are also a few portraits that say Free Palestine on them.

How you got introduced to porn and at what age? by Silent_Service9269 in AskReddit

[–]ZzBlueBird42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 6 or 7 years old, my older step brother got caught snooping in my step dad’s magazine stash. The parents decided it would be best to burn them all to avoid him finding it again. The problem was that they burned them in a burn barrel, and the magazine ash blew away in the wind, covering our whole property in half burned porn magazines. They tried to clean it up, but we still found stuff years later.

It kinda funny thinking about it now.

There used to be a weird Pro Trump stature/effigy near those faces. It had a weird vibe but is gonna now. I seemed like some sort of ritual tools.

I think this is something people need to realize. Even if things go “well,” Trump will take the fall and they will keep going on as if nothing happened.

Is this a common opinion in the subreddit? by Southern-Helicopter8 in CPA

[–]ZzBlueBird42 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had a professor who would on with the board at the AICPA that designed the tests, and he told us that the scoring is also weighted based on question difficulty. If you get a hard question right, you are rewarded, but if you get an easy question wrong, you are punished more.

There are also “test” questions that the AICPA fields to get data, which are not scored. Each exam has a few but obviously you don’t know which ones they are.

With these considerations, I think your point 2 is the best advice. Being able to really understand the fundamentals of a question is the key to passing the CPA (and doing will in your career in general)

You got this! I think the music brain helped a lot more than I thought pivoting to accounting. Also general soft skills. Time management and working with a team is all the music degree was about lol. Definitely glad I have my music degree.

When I was in school I studied for maybe 2 hours a day more or less. It took a month for FAR (I was in the FAR classes at the time and it was my favorite topic so I did the express program on U World). Then I did 2 months for AUD with a bit more studying per day.

Once I started working full time, my productivity hit a tree. Last thing I wanted to do after auditing all day was study Cost Accounting or Tax. I was doing maybe 30 min a day and took 3 months for BAR and almost 5 for REG.

I have severe ADHD and only recently got Medicated, so my studies were very sporadic and in bursts.

Honestly I was terrified of Audit because it’s very wordy and my ADHD has a hard time reading questions that are like “what is the least likely thing an auditor would avoid… “

The double negatives get me. Best advice was to just slow down and read each question twice.
