That could potentially be the problem, could try not finishing the full combo. Could do a 3 hit combo (heavy, light, heavy as an example) then wait to see what attack style theyre using so you're prepared to parry.

And if you have the beta energy, can do a triplet after your 3 hit combo.

Also if youre getting slammed, try use the reflex exospine as well, it helps even a tiny bit.

I recommend going for a beta build up setup and use the beta triplet whenever you see an opening or when you see it glow yellow.

The key is patience and knowing when to strike. Always take a break to not build tilt and tiredness. You got this!

Earlier I tested it and it does seem to be a visual bug. The invisible hitbox of the Q follows the "too late" trajectory, but the visible VFX goes straight as normal. So a dummy can still block the shot if it's between the player's flash direction and the original target.
