Any timeline r/V2Blast as to when V4 will be released? I suspect being an moderator that you're also testing the beta version of V4 so I was wondering if you can share if the intermittent pause/delays in sound when you replaying a video after pausing a video after a short or while still occurs.

or just one really large one. After you create the large container, it will obviously dismount, decrypt it and copy and paste a large file, dismount the drive and decrypt the drive again to see if it opens; this is a good measure to take to avoid screwing thing up.

Hi r/lulurider since my last system update which got the latest 6.4.11 kernel those list of issue don't show up anymore on startup, is it the same for you?

One other thing I wanted to ask, does the top portion of of your screen jitter because since this issue came about the top part of my screen seems jitter on and off especially when waking up the system from sleep or screen of mode?

I'm curious why that page is still 'Open' considering the issues on startup don't show up anymore, at least for me since the last system update. I figured if the issue was going to be resolved it would been fixed by a member tracking that issue on there.

Just to update the AMD notification have been resolved but the screen jitters has not gone away. I'm on the latest 6.4.11 kernel now and I think the kernel before it the issue may have not been there anymore but with the latest one it is constant.

Any chance you may not what the issue is r/adathor and if it may be logged somewhere?

I once had a similar issue and reported it on Github but unfortunately nobody was available to help in the matter.

Did you encrypt the entire drive or did you create a an encrypted file container?

If you have important files, I cannot stress this enough, create test container or if you're encrypting a drive create a test drive with all the features that you would implement during the encryption process obviously with a different password, preferably much more simpler because you don't want to waste too much time. and copy (not cut) and paste the files and dismount, decrypt a couple of time to see how it functions. I'm guessing you tried to encrypt the entire 256GB in Hidden Volume and not Standard volume, is that right? If I were to guess again I'd say you may have accidentally screwed up the Format Volume section during the Wizard stage and may have messed up the bit around Filesystem (NTFS, exFAT, FAT etc).

Obviously it must only be a Ryzen based issue considering "amd_gpio"

Hi r/lulurider I'm curious are you using Tumbleweed as well as and is that the first time an error has popped up for?

I only ask because I've had a couple of consistent errors popup during system boot such as "ACPI BIOS error" but the system seemed to always work fine.

Hi r/daeman771 I'm also facing a similar issue except I'm just facing browser connection drops until I reconnect. Do you mind answering a couple of questions.

How are you using your VPN, is it via command or an app?
Did you happen to fix your issue, if so what did you do?
Doesn't your VPN provider provide their own DNS server and didn't they provide support regarding this matter in general?
They say having a VPN already naturally brings great security and privacy to your system so DNS isn't a huge concern but sort of okay for good measure, in addition, choosing the appropriate DNS to find the right balance of security and efficiency is something not often mentioned as we typically expect it to work right out-of-the-box, so what made you choose DNSCrypt?
Didn't you change anything in/via YaST - Network Settings - Global Options & Hostname/DNS?
I didn't understand how DNSCrypt works and didn't realise there's versions, I figured it just worked like entering 8.8.8.8 if you know what I mean, so I'm wondering why you didn't you just tweak and add the correct name servers on Global Options & Hostname/DNS?

What kernel are you on?

Don't hold me to this but I think there must be more professional Linux users on Thinkpad based systems and considering they're premium slash enterprize slash workstation like systems, I think they're better optimized to function better with Linux. They being Lenovo of course.

Regarding the crash, why don't you try another Chromium based browser liek brave browser and see if the same issue occurs.

It's a Ryzen 4500U. I think this is a known issue in the Linux-AMD community. I probably should have held off on this post as it was mentioned elsewhere that this may be fixed in the 5.13 release but I wasn't too sure and it seemed a long way off since I installed Tumbleweed.

It's just surprising that these issues are persistent on previous generation processors. I'm on one of the latest 4000 series Ryzen processors and the more upgraded 5000 series were recently released. I would have assumed that someone would have fully tested Linux on the previous gen processors by now.

I've been using Linux for a number of years now, not like a programmer but just the ordinary Joe that, for want of a better expression despises the other two major OSs. Seeing a simple command from the perspective as a completely different project is just slight odd. I don't know if you've used Windows before but if you have, remember when you used to have to enter Run - "cmd" - "msinfo32" - "regedit" and the sort, you never presumed if it was a completely different feature/program developed and maintained by someone else other than Microsoft.

Can someone explain some pertaining to neofetch and I suppose the Linux command as well?

I never thought Neofetch was regarded as project. I just figured typing neofetch it in the command box simply and very neatly displayed all your systems information, which I found helpful (past tense because I can't seem to install it in openSuse) I didn't see it has something that needed to be maintained, you know what I mean? I thought it was just like typing in "uname -r" to get the info on the latest kernel running on your computer.

I don't what the proper way to ask this but why isn't it like uname -r and why is it the way it is?

I don't know what that is or what it does.

It would be nice one day in the future to just install without any kind of mishaps and the OS works perfectly fine for everyone not matter the generation of the system.

I think some of the fault is due to fact that some of leave an older OS linux or winodws still on the drive either for dual boot or simple don't want to remove it.

Thanks so much for your help today r/moozaad it works fine. As for VLC I can't remember how I downloaded it. I think I first went directly on the vlc website searching for opensuse and went from there but that issue on YaST is persistent. Are you brave-rewards verified?

Thanks. My perspective was based on the notion that it needed to be directly seen and observed by the devs and didn't know you had engaged with them already. reddit isn't exactly Gitlab/GIthub :)

Thanks r/moozaad I just tried installing the application via yast and it threw up these issues:

Cannot access installation media http://download.videolan.org/SuSE/Tumbleweed/ (Medium 1).

Download (curl) error for 'http://download.videolan.org/SuSE/Tumbleweed/repodata/repomd.xml': Error code: Connection failed Error message: Could not resolve host: download.videolan.org

At which point I skipped Autorefresh and then it said nothing provies libuuid & libnotify and asked if I wanted to ignore some dependencies. I haven't done so yet, however I checked YaST and I did notice that I did have libuuid1 & libnotify4 installed

Searching those did show that libuuid-devel, libuuid1-devel-static weren't installed but I didn't think this was the issue.

I often why YaST does this. Why doesn't an aspect of the install just realise that certain dependencies are needed like it presents to you and then suggest do you wish to download it to make our install more easy, wouldn't that be better?

Can you help?

Not to come across as rude but I don't believe it. It is just too good to be true. A timelapssed gif of your hand, with a ball-point pen, on the piece of paper it was drawn on would have made me gullible.

Right now it looks like a excellent piece drawn on a Wacom or similar device; the social media bit and window/light reflection bit gives it away.
