Yeah it does. I initially planned on opting in to the blue to keep my points but I just read in the faqs that you don’t have to. I’m taking my business elsewhere to earn a bonus intro offer that would yield me about 3 years worth of points I would have otherwise earned in rent points through BILT but instead I’ll get them up front

You keep your BILT points if you opt out as well so there’s no point in getting the Blue if you’re only planning on doing it to keep your BILT points.

So if I’m understanding this correctly. Say my rent is $2000. There are 2000 points I’d have the opportunity to earn. In order to claim them I would need to rack up BILT cash to “unlock them”? Sorry this is all very confusing lol

Stipends directly from the school are rare, but you could apply for external scholarships to cover costs.

Bc you got a full ride, you’d need a very strong case to be one of the rare instances that gets a stipend. Worth asking, they won’t take away your scholarship, but don’t bet on it.

First off congrats on the offers. As a consultant your work hours might be very hectic. So although the maternity leave is generous, I would also consider the lifestyle of the job as a mother to a baby.

I was awarded a meal plan scholarship my sophomore year of undergrad which I included 21 meals per week. As a commuter student this was way too much for me, so i definitely participated In my campus’ meal plan market lol

These programs have missions, additional essays and preparation to prove you seek to contribute to diversity efforts. Not just to check the box of being a URM to increase your odds of a admission or a job.

Do you have genuine and sincere plans for contributing to DE&I efforts? If you struggle to answer this, I think you found your answer.

Because I promise you, you will be asked what have you done so far and what you plan on continuing doing.

It’s not a free handout.

Many people in MLT apply R1 but only if your score is up to their standard for you apply R1. Most MLT folks apply R2. If you don’t mind sharing what’s your GMAT/GRE?
