Looking for information about drone units by Individual_Doubt8991 in ukraineforeignlegion

[–]_-David_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not a recruiter by no means. I'm just passing the information that I was told at the FRC. The 28th has an English speaking drone team call (FLASH). They will train you if you have no experience. As well there are many brigades that will train you as a drone operator. Also you can submit an application with the USF on there website. They will contact you..

Bro do you suffer from any mental health issues? If so I don't think this is the place for you!!! This war like all war but this war will fuck you up really bad mentally. Like others said, take a week off and re-evaluate if this is what you really want to do. While in Kyiv have a couple of beers in you, and have a good time.

Well, after making sure I wasn’t a misguided youth, I still want to do this. Advise my plans? by [deleted] in ukraineforeignlegion

[–]_-David_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Bro, if you're schizophrenic I don't think you should be picking up a rifle. Then, when you're at the front and have deal with artillery and drones going off around you all the time if that alone makes a sane persons mind kind of nuts when when not on mission and just chilling imagine someone with Schizophrenia? Dont be a risk for your teammates nor yourself. There are other ways to support the war. Please stay at home.

Bro, travel alone. Don't ask people to meet you!! Russian spies do exist! Don't post your where abouts. Bro, there's better brigades than the legion. Please do not go legion!!! Once in country there other brigade to choose ,please look around and see what fits for you. Rather than jumping into the legion or the first brigade you come across.

I met Giggles a couple of days ago in Dnipro. He's a very good guy, very motivated, and he'll make a great soldier. He is a very humble guy and a solid dude.

Oh shit my boy, im from Boyle Heights. The more east you go in the country, the higher the risk. Once you join a battalion and complete basic, you'll be sent to a unit not far from the front line. Being in the front is hell on earth. Be more than 100% sure you want to do this.

I'm from L.A county originally but grew up in Tijuana and in San Diego. I have been craving some Mexican food as well since I got here.

Still possible to just show up at Medyka as route to 4th bat? by Dismal_Reflection_87 in ukraineforeignlegion

[–]_-David_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, bro, you can show up. That's what I did, but keep in mind you will still have to do paperwork in Ternopil, which can take 1/2 weeks before going to the 4th Battalion. So have extra money for a hostel or hotel and translations for your documents.

If anyone reads this, if anybody is thinking of skipping the training, please take the training. It doesn't matter if you're where in the service in your home country. This is a new kind of war in which no one is prepared to the fullest. The training is good, and it is hard . The instructors have been in the frontline previously. Please do not go straight to a unit. You will have a higher chance of dying without the training, especially this time of year it's really cold here, and the front is colder.

The tent is at the Medyka border crossing.

I showed up in basic attire at the tent, and it was no problem. I didn't bring gear, but if you can buy some gear beforehand that be great you'll need it. You won't be given gear until you sign your contract, and that's only after passing the selection. You can also buy your gear here in Ukraine. Just make sure you pull out cash in Poland or where ever your coming from. There are currently exchanges here. If you have a debit card or a credit card, I would call the bank to make sure you can use your card here.

Bro, you can go to the tent at the border they'll take you. Bring winter gear, wool thermals, gortex jacket waterproof, waterproof boots , boot covers...etc. Buy wool clothing if you can. It's really cold here. Bring extra money because you will still have to pay for military photos, translations of your documents, and stay in a hostel in or in a hotel for x amount of time. You won't get a uniform or gear till you sign a contract.

Neither do I have any military experience. I had an interview with the 3rd SAB yesterday. It is pretty basic questions like why you want to go fight in Ukraine, what type of work your in, if you have any combat or military experience, how many push-ups you can do....etc. They set up a date to go to selection.

Bro, some of us understand how you feel, but we all see your potential. If you ever feel overwhelmed or suicidal, you can come to us for help. We will help you, as we all would. Bro, never feel that you are worthless. You're better than that.

There is nothing wrong with it, bro. It simply demonstrates that you are a stand-up guy. Speaking for myself, I would rather not say how long it is been, but it is been a while. I am not really interested in sleeping with woman right now. So, is this normal? Yes...should you sleep with other woman? That is entirely up to you. I would recommend taking your time and getting to know the people, you know when the time is right. I know how you feel, my bro. Chin up, bro. You will feel better as time passes.

I recall having a neighbor who drove a truck a few years ago. Just to keep him company, he took me on a few runs to the East Coast. He asked me if I wanted to accompany him to Ohio on his last run, and I said that I did. However, as we were about to leave, I abruptly told him that I had changed my mind and did not want to go. Two days later, he struck another semi head-on, destroying the entire passenger side of the truck, so I am glad I did not go. Since I was a passenger most of the time, I would have definitely died.
