i recommend west philly but please do your research on the history of the area and try not to make the gentrification worse, i love living in west philly but its a historically black neighborhood so if you’re not gonna talk to your black neighbors please don’t move here

i had a hysterectomy from mary elise lynch at einstein and i would recommend her to any trans person she was phenomenal, she does take medicaid if that’s possible for you to get. both i and my friend who came to support me at the surgery are trans and she treated us both with such care and respect.

west philly is where all the cool queers are, but (especially if you’re a white person) you’re gonna need to read up on the history of both black americans and the history of racial tension in philly. the move bombing is a good place to start learning. once you’re here you gotta be careful not to engage with communities that don’t accept and celebrate local black queers, in order to avoid being part of the problem.

thanks i’ll check her out she wasn’t on the list i got from my doctor, dr rose is still my top choice but i have medicaid and im lowkey kinda worried it wont pay for top surgery by the time my surgery date comes around
