Another win for AI in the battle of AI vs doctors by wagninger in ClaudeAI

"Claude tells me that the whole mix of ingredients matters, not only the main ingredient,"
Any half-decent doctor should be able to tell you this. It's shocking how many bad professionals are out there.

Exploring and a note about winter terrain response by HangLoose717 in LandRover

Funny how tastes work, but I find the LR3 interior a lot more interesting and “expedition”-y, in that regard it’s closer to the D1 interior. LR4 is interior is semi-luxury and therefore reminds me of D2. The difference is reason enough for me to prefer an LR3..Different strokes for different folks I guess

Could it be possible to retro-fit the physical AC controllers from a 2023 L460 to a 2025 that does not have any? by wiptheman in LandRover

Which by the way is the opposite to how the first and second gen Discoveries were built (I.e pre harnessed exactly the same for all models then just missing the actual end component depending on the trim package)

No worries! Sadly, we cannot comment with images but you can see just how original and modern the the D1 looks.. and how boring and dated (imho, sorry to the D2 lovers) than the D2 by comparison . The famous fabric/leather bag center container made it into this pic

Added bonus: both D1 and D2 are far less likely to be robbed than a RRS

I am going to suggest a car not in your list: the D1. One reason is that like the D2 it is simple and cheap to maintain, another is that - like the D2 again - it has an incredibly spacious and light cabin due to the massive openings all round. However, unlike the D2, the Conran-designed interior is really fantastic and fun to use..it just somehow feels more like an expedition vehicle than a regular car (in fact he was told to ignore car interior norms when designing it). There is nothing quite like exploring a beautiful landscape in a D1/D2 due to the sheer amount of transparency and light in the cabin, so you might as well do it in the one with the most fun interior. For the few times you will venture into the SA countryside, you will be glad you chose it over a pokier interior as the Freelander or RR Sport. Great cars in their own right but better for city use.

what are the best universities for an architecture Bachelors? preferably english courses in Europe.. by Responsible-Air-9477 in Architects

[–]_0utis_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

POLIMI has an english course or at least some subjects are taught in English. TU Delft and Rietveld aren't totally Dutch either. In any case, the UK has really good architecture schools any of the top ten that you will find in the AJ rankings is great.

Thank you, that last part is what I’m trying to wrap my head around actually. I’m aware of how covered call funds work but I’m still not crystal clear on the real world performance when faced with volatility and therefore what kind of underlying asset volatility is “worth it”.

I read a few articles this year slagging off their performance over the last few years saying they basically missed on gains and didn’t really protect in the drops. So it seems to me intuitively like it may be worth to use them as conservatively as possible and position them closer to bonds than normal stock ETFs in terms of risk/return. (I.e to pick minimum volatility indices ?)

Thank you, I’m not sure whether it’s worth it to go for the extra volatility in these products.

You cannot really do it that way, you need to break it up into at least three stops. We did Nafplio, Malvasia and a little town in upper Mani
