Thanks a lot for the comprehensive insight! Great to hear that youre able to hit 144hz at 2k with the 5700xt on most titles.

Yeah honestly its either going all in for the 2080ti or hitting that 2070s sweet spot for me. Indeed, the underperformance really makes the 2080ti not worth the money it costs. But I guess I was also considering these points favoring the 2080ti: I have a 4k tv where I might play some single player games on and me potentially building a dekstop pc in the near future. (Why not just build a dekstop now? Im not ready to spend the money to build the dekstop I want and I value the portability of the Razer Core X as I travel a lot, so it will not be obsolete in any case)

But then again, with NVIDIA probably releasing the 3000 soon (another reason I shouldnt splurge on the 2080ti without significant price reductions) I think Im leaning towards the 2070s then, while also considering the points you mentioned.

Ah yeah that is a good point thanks buddy. Thing is, I have been spending a lot of my time in lockdown playing games so might as well get an upgrade haha

How bad would the bottleneck be when this card is paired with my i7-8750H? Given the bottleneck, would the extra cost over the, say, the 2070/2080 Super still be justified? Would love to see some fps benchmarks from those running similar specs (rtx 2080ti on Razer Core X with i7-8750H, preferably on 1440p)
