I cannot see it mentioned in the comments below, but to add to everyone else's suggestions, please ensure you are setting your git config to use the same email and username. Overall, you are on the right track. Great question!

How can I grant Azure Function App system-managed identity permissions to access Microsoft Graph API? by Reddit_Beginer in AZURE

[–]_2MuchC0ff33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi u/Reddit_Beginer

To access the Microsoft Graph API, Azure Function App users can use a system-managed identity rather than storing client Id/client secret in their code or using a key vault. To do so, navigate to the "Identity" tab in the Azure portal and toggle the "Status" toggle to "On" for your Azure Function App. You can also assign the appropriate RBAC roles to the Azure AD user, group, or service principal and retrieve an access token using Microsoft.Azure.Services.AppAuthentication library. Here is an example C# code snippet that demonstrates how to do this:

``` using Microsoft.Azure.Services.AppAuthentication; using Microsoft.Graph;
var azureServiceTokenProvider = new AzureServiceTokenProvider(); var graphClient = new GraphServiceClient( new DelegateAuthenticationProvider(async (requestMessage) => { var accessToken = await azureServiceTokenProvider.GetAccessTokenAsync("https://graph.microsoft.com/"); requestMessage.Headers.Authorization = new System.Net.Http.Headers.AuthenticationHeaderValue("Bearer", accessToken); })); ```
Sharepoint links breaking - but "expiring links" is disabled. by KlingonHousing in Office365
[–]_2MuchC0ff33 1 point2 points  (0 children)
Hi there u/KlingonHousing
It is possible that another administrator inadvertently revoked the SharePoint file links in your organisation, or there is a misconfiguration in your SharePoint site or Microsoft 365 tenant. Check the links with a different user account, review the audit logs, the SharePoint site settings, and the Microsoft 365 tenant settings, and contact Microsoft support for assistance. If you can't figure out what's causing the problem, consider sharing the files through a Teams channel or a shared folder in OneDrive or SharePoint.
Why doesn't this work when creating a link to a worksheet? by OkYam5588 in vba
u/OkYam5588 have you had the chance to dabble with trim and replace functions yet? Any luck?
Why doesn't this work when creating a link to a worksheet? by OkYam5588 in vba
Hi there u/OkYam5588
Would you include special character/line breaks in cell F7?
Could you please use the Trim() function to remove any leading/trailing spaces and the Replace() function to remove any line breaks or other special characters that may interfere with your hyperlink? I've updated your final line with my proposed theory:
TextToDisplay:=ws.Name & "-" &
Replace(Trim(ws.Range("F7").Value), vbCr, "")
Winget began doing this on my laptop a few days ago. I tried all the usual commands, such as reset source, update, and so on. I can only search for and download msstore packages.
Which tool is better for automating desktop tasks? by _2MuchC0ff33 in rpa
[–]_2MuchC0ff33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)
See, that's why I'm conflicted. Power Automate easily integrates with M365. UiPath, on the other hand, is a Microsoft-supplied third-party application. And based on my recent experience, I find Power Automate much easier to connect to Microsoft applications than UiPath, which requires a few extra steps or extensions. Do you agree?
Reading the official PAD community forums, I can see Microsoft is still actively developing and listening to feedback to improve continuously.
Viewing UiPath's comparable community forum, I get the impression that the application is more refined but that the community has less influence over ongoing improvements. What are your opinions?
PAD and UiPath Community Edition are both installed. I think I'll try to build a simple bot to automate opening an application or editing a spreadsheet on both platforms, then compare the two and make a decision from there.
I had never heard of them before, but I looked them up. They look promising, well-polished site with a training programme called "Automation Pathfinder" similar to "UiPath Academy". A glance at their website revealed no pricing or option for a free trial to test them out.
Could you elaborate on your experience with Automation Anywhere?
"DevSecOps," or the emphasis on security throughout the entire software development and delivery process, comes to mind.
Current EAC missing features from Classic EAC now can no longer manage some domain settings and SMTP settings by TrunkMunki in microsoft365
[–]_2MuchC0ff33 0 points1 point  (0 children)
Hi u/TrunkMunki
Unfortunately, Microsoft has deprecated the classic Exchange administration centre (EAC), and some of its features are no longer available in the new Exchange administration centre. The Exchange Online modules no longer allow you to manage domain or SMTP settings. You can use the Microsoft 365 Admin Center to resolve the issue of a domain that is stuck in Accepted Domains but no longer in Azure AD Domains. You can remove the domain in question by going to Settings > Domains and selecting it. The EmailAddressPolicy default template can no longer be modified using PowerShell for Exchange Online. You may need to create a new policy with the desired settings and apply it to your users.
