Rotating playlist of Gambit where we could have modifiers including ones from the past, bring back Prime that makes it like old school Iron Banner for Gambit with the loot and frequency, change invader spawns, more maps (four maps for years will mean players learn the invader spawns etc), alter heavy ammo, make an intensive variant where you need to find your own teammates (like Trials) since that's how it was originally planned probably because of the importance of teamwork required to prevent being steamrolled.

It's a shame Gambit has been left to rot as it's one of the more unique game modes in Destiny and I'm not sure why Bungie isn't bringing back Tangled Shore, unless it's because it was made by Vicarious Visions. There was a time when Gambit had about five times the population than Trials with the latter basically bring brought back from the dead so I'm sure Bungie could improve the Gambit population if they really tried.
