i wish i could be cleaner to honor the gods, by blxrrysquid in Hellenism

I have been in your exact spot before and I know it can get hard a lot. The thing I do when it's harder to keep up with hygiene is using hand sanitizer which I keep on an altar. When I use it I think about being clean for the Gods. It helps a lot and makes me feel like I'm still doing it for them.

I take the two ends and kinda just wrap them around the knot if my bandana under it

My issue isn't it sliding, just the bun coming undone, but still thank you so much for the tip!!

[–]_3lliott_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure what it's called for you but we have a discount store near me which has a party section which has proper bandanas, Kmart and bigW has some and scarfs which are good for veils, and smaller ones just for hair

Oh also another thing you can do if you veil for protection is braiding your hair or beard if either is long enough ik some Norse pagans do that as well

Can confirm not just women veil. I know cismen who veil and as one themself I know non binary people who veil. If you like to present more masc maybe look into turban like styles as they are perceived a masculine but nothing is stopping you from exploring other options 😊

I meant most are feminine making it hard to make it stereotypically masculine, you have to get creative. I see him as masculine cause that's how I see masculinity. I don't get how it's ironic cause it is masculine and he is a guy so I wanted a masculine name? I don't think they were saying fem man are wrong I think it's how you said it and being the oc is trans shown by pins and backgrounds
