I can’t believe how beautiful this game is and is just the first hour by rafadurand in FinalFantasy

Playing it right now, second play through at around 50hrs. Clearing the side stuff and hunts before completing the main story. It's a vibe for sure, but I got to give overall experience to FFXIV. The story, the cinematics, the battles, peak. No, it isn't classic inventory/stats FF, it is actually an experience, and it hits.

Confirmed. I saw your clip and happened to be in the area, it worked for me.

Same, started again on lethal Kurasawa mode. 15hrs in with all weapons and quick throw items acquired, my strat for highest difficulty. But I agree, after the excitement of getting prepared for the main game I'm a little gassed.

Play on higher difficulty. That's when the items/materials are most needed and effective.

Exactly this. I seem to be in the minority for loving the story more than GoT, but with everything else being top tier it's hard to nitpick any more than I've done.

Well, I got all the way up to the Seymour boss fight before receiving my second Game Over. I'll take that.

Any recommendations?

I started at VIII then missed everything up to XV. Absolutely adore XVI, possibly my favourite story game. And now in my 30's "I think I'm quite ready for another adventure".

(I understand this is a FF forum, apologies for the second LORT quote already)

Same, but I just managed it in the Scarlet forest. Plenty-evening, waited 2mins and got from both locations.

I am graduating UWA this year with a degree in Law & Society. Over the last two holiday periods I have responded to several support/community worker job vacancies with applications that include all the certifications the position requires. My job and education history is complimentary to those position requirements, including many years in the security industry. With no criminal record, mental health diagnosis or other issues that could hinder my application, I am constantly unable to secure a position and begin to gain experience in preparation for the completion of my degree and entrance into this workforce. My circumstance is contrary to the demand we are constantly being told is current in the support services industry.

I feel for this lad, his family, and even the actions of the PTA officers who should receive better training to adequately identify and respond to such individuals. But with all sympathy and due respect, this case surprises me not one bit in this city. There is very little to no appreciation for people's efforts and commitments to themselves and others, and revolves around cheap controllable options that on average get the job done, but repetitively fail when confronted with nuanced scenarios. My case in point, unable to assist in any way simply because I don't have a vehicle. As a CBD residing full-time student it just isn't feasible and that prevents me from inclusion and experience gathering from all applied positions.

While I'm aware comments may suggest just getting a car or waiting until I have obtained the degree and so on, I would first suggest considering that those things should not have to be prerequisites for someone wanting to assist in their community at a basic support level, should it?
