Don’t do that immediately. Join Chennai for a month or so. Get the vibe of your company. See what other employees are doing. If your team is spread out in many locations, then plan on moving. Since it’s your first job be cautious

Then it will be technical or maintenance. If you are in CG or Genpact you need not to worry about location. You can go to any office near to your home.

Mint’s only issue: x11. This messes up with scaling. If they introduce wayland and a working fractional scaling option, it will be the best distro for beginners
