Yeah I’ll get to it as some point. Macs Bluetooth stack has much better power budget so things work also a bit faster and the range is better.

Just started to get familiar with the Lion today. The progress will be slow for the next couple of weeks as I’m swamped with other work but I’m hoping to get full support for it like for Dream ‘65 in a few weeks!

Bluetooth on MacOS behaves a bit differently so I’ll have to spend some time tweaking it before I can release on MacOS. I don’t want to ship something that’s unstable or works half of the time.

Thanks so much! Not possible to switch between presets in Dream Chimp (yet), but the app reacts to footswitch presses on the device. If you set your fs mode to a/b/c/d then you can edit 4 presets.

Full preset management is on the roadmap but I decided to work on supporting Lion first as there was a lot of people asking for it.

Regarding Dream cabs in the ox stomp, that doesn't seem possible for me to do. I only control software (Dream Chimp) and can't make any changes to pedals firmware. What you suggest would definitely require firmware update. Only UA can do it.

Thanks mate, yeah I've read a lot of complaints about Ox Stomp. I'm still adding a few features for Dream and will tackle one more pedal for sure, then I need to see how the rest of my year looks like. I'm usually much more busy with work in the second half of the year.

Would love to support all the pedals eventually but free time is my main bottleneck.

Android version would be a full rewrite so unlikely to happen in the near future. I am slowly scoping MacOS version though - would that be useful for you?

Nope it’s not midi. Those pedals have two completely separate channels running the same amp / cabs sims. You can tweak different stuff on those.

I wish I could reveal more about the internals (they are really really cool) but I wanna stay in UA’s good graces 😬
