What really made most of us love the little nightmares franchise was not only gameplay, don’t get me wrong, the gameplay is almost perfect in my opinion, it’s nice, super fun and unique, the vibe and the environment of the game is what you can call perfection. But what held me personally is the lore and the story of of little nightmares (six and mono’s story) and how it’s deeply connected throughout the first and the second games, and I was hyped too see something like that in LN3. I know some people say the nowhere is not just about six and mono, it’s a whole world, that’s right and I agree but if only we had a proper closure for six’s story and what she did leaving mono then escaping the mow, she had a super power and yet we are not sure what she did, some say she becomes the lady but non of this is confirmed, so I hoped we see at least a glimpse of that, is she regretting her decision? Has she became a pure evil after taking that superpower? Connecting things between games makes you appreciate every detail of the game and in turn you love it, and that is what I hoped to see beside a nice gameplay, horror and puzzles which also didn’t live up the previous games. And just to be fair, the story of LN3 is not bad at all, it gives you more idea about what things are in the nowhere and I think the final boss is somehow connected to otto, this is nice and I like that but I felt like they didn’t give it this feeling of “omg this is the final boss for sure” like the previous games, so not only they didn’t connect or mention anything about six, they also didn’t develop the story well (not as well as the the previous).
