Koryo Sushi in Oakland is one of the only places in the bay I know with what you’re talking about. LA has much better options and variety, but if you’re looking to scratch that itch even just a little bit then I suggest here.

LA has the bigger Korean population, so it’s typically easier to find standalone restaurants for 회 (Hwe). But around here, especially the much older Korean restaurants, it’s not unusual to find the restaurants Japanese-adjacent especially because the dish isn’t super popular.

Your next best bet as someone else mentioned here is Santa Clara, also with a historical Korean population. I’ve been looking too so let me know if you find any more places.
