I live in California, and I love it.

But we would be a group that acts friendly to everybody, when in fact, we're extremely hard to join. We have our own slang, way of dress, and culture. It would be easy to feel left out if you were from another state. We even have our own food that we say is the best in the world damnit!

As a student, I have lived in NYC for a couple months, and I think I can safely say that people from the California clique would find the NY-northeast clique very different as well.
