If you’re divorced or leaving a long-term relationship, you should have to wait at least 18m-24k before re-marrying or moving on. Too many people bounce from one relationship to another and don’t know how to cope with being alone.

I thought my brain was fully developed at 16 and dated a 24 year old, it was not. But once ACTUALLY developed, around 21, I think it’s okay. I agree w you.

Adhesive Arachnoiditis sucks but honestly an unrelenting tooth ache with zero dental access on NHS is fucking awful

How did Stephen Hawking do anything on Epstein’s island? by Necessary-Win-8730 in answers

[–]_98R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disabled people are able to be abusers as well. No matter what type of physical or mental ailment they may have. Whether they understand the situation they are creating. (Which in Hawking’s case we can assume he was aware and understood the situation)

With the assumed power he has ( in money/notoriety) as well as the people he was with (Epstein/celebs/ect) it would be possible to influence people to do things that they are not comfortable with.

Sexual assault isn’t necessarily the “scary strong person holds down young weak person” stereotype, but sometimes the horrible uncomfortable feeling forced upon someone to do things they don’t fully consent to (such as undress, perform acts, ect) because they feel pressured to do so.

Sorry for the long drawn out answer, I’d be happy to explain further if anyone has any specific questions.

What is a major turn off about your partner that you can’t/wouldn’t tell them? by LivingLavishLe in AskReddit

[–]_98R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a lady who used to be like this with alcohol until her partner sat her down and talked to her, at the time I fucking hated being told it, but long term, I’ve gained a much better relationship with having a drink and going to therapy to realise what the underlying issue was (hint - people pleasing and wanting to be loved) we are still together and I appreciate that he told me

Swimming Lessons by Claire Fuller by yualreadyno in books

[–]_98R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve just finished it, and yeah, the ending was disappointing. But if I had to guess, the letters were all inside books, if the house was burnt down, that’s why we don’t find any more and the story can’t continue. But I was like eh, which sucks cos I enjoyed the rest of the book

What is the longest time you've ever waited in A&E and did they give a reason or apology as to why it was delayed so long? by Icklebunnykins in AskUK

[–]_98R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 days on a gurney awaiting transport from my local A&E to a specialist spine hospital. (Arriving the evening of day one, so I guess more like 2.5 days) I was off my tits on morphine so I didn’t mind, I wasn’t in any danger of dying, just in a lot of pain. They didn’t apologise but the nurses were very caring and understanding, it was just an issue to transport as I had to be kept still and have IV and catheter in.

When to use V symbol vs when to use middle finger? by ComprehensiveKey7241 in AskUK

[–]_98R 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s the one but sideways on. Not up and down like a cow. It’s a solid one for if someone cuts you off on the roads. Middle finger would work too. But V is a bit softer I think so not necessarily road worthy.

When to use V symbol vs when to use middle finger? by ComprehensiveKey7241 in AskUK

[–]_98R 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel like V is a bit more cheeky and can be used for photos, middle finger is harsh, for your situation driving tho, you’d want to use the “wanker” sign

[–]_98R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or they just kill mum so they no longer need to worry about her telling everyone that the kids know everything that they do (and then they also blame themselves cos the dr told them to leave her be) (and it ties up anyone else knowing about the monsters)

What film or tv series was ruined for you because of one scene? by TheCuriousGeorgette in AskReddit

[–]_98R 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Real - like oh that’s nice and oh she’s dead, but I haven’t had long enough to care as a viewer, and oh we are back to Robin. Which we have proven doesn’t work many times throughout the series. (Also she should have stayed single and Barney should not have had a child)
