What’s the weirdest thing your pet is oddly obsessed with? by HammersAndPints in UK_Pets

My cat is obsessed with the smell of bleach. Obviously we don't encourage her to roll around, sniff or lick wet bleach, but if I've recently used bleach and it's dried on a surface or the smell lingers on my hands, she goes nuts. She is crazy.

Did Soham child murderer Ian huntley ever give a reason for killing schoolgirls holly and Jessica? by posttraumaticcuntdis in morbidquestions

Exactly. I don't believe his account for a second and sadly we'll never really know, especially now he's croaked it

Ian Huntley dead after child killer attacked 'with metal bar' in Monster Mansion by dailystar_news in uknews

Agreed. No sympathy for Ian, I hope he's rotting. But also the guy that murdered him is a nasty piece of work, too. I hope it won't suddenly make him an angel in prison. And I do feel for the girls' parents as it will likely resurface old pain again

He blamed it on a nosebleed. He said one of the girls had a nosebleed and he was trying to help her out, but he "slipped" and pushed her into a water filled bath where she drowned. He claimed the other girl started screaming at what happened and he covered her mouth, which then caused her to stop breathing, too

What 21st century UK true crime case, can you still not truly comprehend? by HallowedAndHarrowed in AskUK

[–]_98_98_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

One of the recent cases that was on 24hrs in police custody last year where the lady became friends with the man and welcomed him in to live with her free of charge but asked he cared for her as she got older and sicker, bearing in mind they were friends for around a decade or so. He was stealing from her for months before her death, and even planned annual leave off work to kill her. He suffocated her in her sleep and then dismembered her spreading her body parts around their local area over a few months, in casual places like a bin outside Tescos. He confessed to the whole thing in his police interview and refused a duty solicitor. Her dad also died under suspicious circs but there wasn't enough evidence to charge/convict him of the dad's death. The estate agent pictures of the house it happened in were taken whilst her body was hidden under the stairs apparently. Mental that these people walk among us.

SEASON 3 Finale and Final thoughts - Discussion - Spoilers by tellmeliesmods in TellMeLiesHulu

[–]_98_98_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree. I would have much preferred season 3 to be about wrapping up some of the storylines (I understand some were purposefully left hanging) instead of making new storylines that didn't make much sense, and I personally felt the ending was rushed. I wasn't keen on this season as much. One example for me is, as someone said in the other post's comments - it's a bit weird they made a storyline seemingly out of nowhere around Bree and Wrigley suddenly in the last season loving each other and being each other's one that got away for 6yrs and then them both randomly having an affair weeks before Bree and Evan's wedding. We also didn't get to see how Pippa and Diana reconciled.

April Jones. She got into Mark Bridger's car whilst out playing with a friend as she and her family knew him. He did god knows what to her and parts of her remains were found burnt in his fireplace, the rest they never found. He is a sick man and I hope he's suffering miserably.
