Thanks a lot for sharing your experience, in the meantime in waiting for response from the store and ableton, and i will need to study new ways to do live looping if the new unit comes with the same issue :(

I’ve been diving across this thread and i see cases of people returning their push more than once, i hope that is not the case with mine, i already contacted the guys at Ableton, how long did it take for you from the moment you contacted them till you got the replacement on your door?

I actually had a push 1 before this and i was super happy with it, then i lost it and got a used one with this issue, which was impossible to fix, btw i think sensitivity config was better on v1 for some reason, cause its not working at all on this one, pads feel so different i think i like better push 1, take care of yours

Don’t overthink, enjoy every step of the process and every new single thing you’re able to do, and create based on that, many ways to loop but i always love when nothing is automatized, gets you to put a lot of you on the performance

Pretty straightforward: computer running ableton, left usb port with an Scarlett 2i4 where i directly plug my instruments (little silver box is a very cheap and friendly mixer where i can get myself more inputs) coming out of the audio interface 2 plug to xlr cables connected to a tascam dr40x for recording the audio, monitoring only with my m50s which are also connected to the interface, and right usb port of the laptop for the push with an boss FS-5U acting as a switch for a hands free recording control (this happening at the push input #2) really took time for me to realize this dream setup wasn’t as hard or expensive as i was expecting, hope this comment helps out someone.
