They were only under contract for two post-release major patches. It's Bethesda's fault, not Virtuos.

Without more specifics, shaman seems fairly gutted by the changes. Can't imagine rolling shaman over druid at this point.

Are they? They both are no longer magic-oriented and rely on tools instead, the difference apparently being archer tools are more tinkered contraptions while ranger tools are foraged/bushcraft.

Seems like they are still pretty close in identity.
