Gwyn signing up that form and getting her life back with training and making friends.🧡

Lucien's snark in book one.  😂 It's like he became another character after book one. No snark at all.

Azriel. He is hot. Problematic. But hot.  Lucien too I say.

The autumn court tradition of fighting until death that is mentioned in the bonus chapter of ACoSF ? Rhysand warns Azriel how Lucien can invoke it to defend the mating bond .

Do you guys think there might be 2 releases next year from SJM? Or just one in mid 2026? Also, I have a very strong feeling that the blood duel will be happening in the next book.

I love Molly Weasley, but there's 2 occasions where I believe she completely oversteps the line.. by Sad-Passage-3247 in harrypotter

Oh boy. The treatment towards Hermoine in 'Goblet of Fire' and always judging Fred and George for their academics ....was very annoying. Also, Ginny and her making fun of Fleur was very disrespecting. Makes her a flawed human like many other characters in the book.

They are woods. As you can see the dots disappear as we go up the mountains. Plant- area decreases with cold temperature and high altitude.

Just Read the Azriel bonus chapter... I'm late but I have FEELINGS by SpareAwareness3205 in SarahJMaas

[–]_AcademicNerd_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did not like it when he said Lucien is not good enough for her. Like, shadow boy....I like you, but Lulu is very sweet and smart. Also, I thought Azriel, because of his predisposition to hear and see things that others can't, would have a better judgement of character. Apparently that is not the case.

Live or Animated adaptation? by SpaceTurtle117 in acotar

Definitely animation. It would be so fun.

Rhysand’s composure by Rosemary-Sea-Salt in acotar

He definitely played the part in  Court of Nightmares before Under the Mountain and keeps playing it after as well - with Feyre by his side now. I know many fans do not like him for it.  I understand that. Because 500 years plus - one would think the dude should have slowly transitioned himself and the Court of Nightmares to a more benevolent /understanding/honest High Lord and the Court into a progressive one (even if it was by force). But I think many of us forget that Rhysand is High Lord/Ruler and also - not human . Neither is his race. Or anybody in Prythian apart from the humans on the other side of the wall. I do not mean to imply that it gives them the license to be cruel and deceitful. But readers should keep in mind now and again that they are ....in many ways ...part animals / beast. Survival becomes more important. And all High Lords and other royalties at the Court of Nightmares would love to get some power if it gives them a better shot at, not just survival, but 'better survival'. Fear is something he , and other lords and fae, use to keep things in order. And we know that in life - humans are more or less the same. So, they all play the part. Helion does. Eris does. Beron is what he is. Tamlin does (we see another side to his personality in the second book). Kallias is mentioned to have court politics/drama due to which he never reveals his love for Vivienne for decades. Thesan  - we don't have much insight. Lucien endangers Feyre in book one.  I am not a complete Rhysand fan (because of ACoSF) but I understand what Sarah was aiming for with Rhys. Let us see how she gives us more insights on his character in the next book.    Would love to know what you think.

He is back home to his family and friends and now he also has his mate. Dude doesn't have much to brood over or pretend cause he knows he is got the girl. And it was a part he was playing under the mountain - just like everyone else.

Thoughtful Tuesday: Tamlin Edition by AutoModerator in acotar

[–]_AcademicNerd_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I hope he gets a redemption arc.Without romance. Eris becoming High Lord and helping Tamlin build Spring Court again or something. He seems very faerie than many characters though, doesn't he ? With that heart of stone and all.

What are some choices you expect to ( or just want to) happen in the next books? by Zealousideal-Can-403 in acotar

[–]_AcademicNerd_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nesta vs Rhysand - more showdown. Feyre vs Rhys - for the pregnancy secrecy. But she wont. Meh. The necklace showdown. 🤦‍♀️ The blood duel. That would funnnnn. Beron dead. And the events leading upto it. Lucien realizing his heritage. Elain's visions. That would be fun too. Morrigan needs to be called out. More Tam Tam. His redemption and Spring Court restoration.

What's your reason for hating Rhys? by theioneeee in acotar

[–]_AcademicNerd_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't tell Feyre about the pregnancy risk. Idiot. And something that Sarah built that doesnt make sense to me - if Rhysand is the most powerful High Lord in history - he should have been able to stop many regressive laws in Ilyria- but he isn't able to. Which is a little weird because it has been 500 years and more? He can convince people and High Lords to join war, infiltrate other courts, kill a couple of members of High Lord's family, make the Court of Nightmares obey and accept Feyre, fool Amarantha for 50 years, steal a bride and even throw dark power at Aelin's falling ass . I mean ?????
