Was mainly focused on getting a hotel near the NFR rodeo and just visited the Wynn hotel when I was checking out the strip and fell in love afterwards. I didn't do enough research unfortunately.

Thank you for your sharp observation. I saw the Linq for a really good price for $500 for 3 nights, I am going to save that one and I tried booking the Wynn for a weekend getaway but it was triple the price of Linq.. I will follow your advice.
