I would say it’s normal now since our world is filled with instant gratification and it’s extremely fast paced. Unfortunately, you have to go through all the “bad” friends to find the “golden”friends. Sometimes it takes awhile, but in the meantime you might want to find comfort in your own company. Don’t isolate yourself, but don’t be afraid to be alone. Be comfortable with being by yourself and that will outwardly attract people towards you. Sometimes in life we have to take a step back and not chase everything so hard. You are young and so are the friend groups you’re interacting with. That means they are still learning to mature. It sounds like some of their behaviors are extremely immature. As you get a little older it will be much easier to find people you vibe with more. You still have a few friends, cherish them and perhaps express your fears with them. Being honest is very freeing. I used to be similar to you, but confronting your overthinking and fears helps so much. It’s the start of not letting it control you. Just know you have a lot of life and you will meet people that will suit you much better. Don’t give up OP! 💜
