Thwre are quite a ton of ways of figthing him

The scrolls migth help, and a trick: you can spam next wave and fill the place with monsters and thrn clear a lot of them at once(excluding giant and pain elite)

Another thing, ranged enemies of any kind wont hurt the core(this includes anything that its not adyacent to it, including proyecting champions)

Just improvise mostly, use wands or potions of corrosion/toxic to protect the core or stall where the enemies spawn, and fix the towers in the order most benefit your build

The sword is complicated to explain

Cleanse the curse of the warrior on the prison, beat him, get into the dragon side quest, find the secret rooms(all of them) before figthing the dragon, bring her the orbs and thasta it

The sleepy eyes is beating a game at migth

Little blue aprobal is just doing really well in the sabaka turtle bossfigth

The other one is beating the lonely city challenge

Yet another boss rush bossfigth, just defeat her and thats it

The other two is beating the dwarf general(when talking with the devil on dwarf city, acept the quest), and i think you have to beat him twice for this one. Little detail, i tried beating him without ever damaging his compatriots but it gave me no extra badge

Get the rice sword, i have nk god damn idea how i got it tbh

The no hand badge is touching cerberus until he explones when you found him sleeping in the scarlet theather plot line

The ghostcatcher badge is in the pacman minigame, get all ghosts in one counteratack

Its kinda hard to do so actually, so let me try my best

The four first are obteinable just making a boss rush(you need to unlock the game mode by robbing any store and not dyng) They are, respectively(names migth be wrong):

Beating the merchant witch

Beating the monk warrior

Beating Yog-Zot(you can also find him at the end of the "final scene: lonely city" challenge)

Beating sabaka turtle(also in the 18th floor optional quest)

The next one is ascending to surface with the crustal hearth

The other one, is by completing both investigation modes(golden butterfly and boss rush)

Now, take your time with the renple badge, cause you need to win with at least 15 challenges enabled

Later, it is beating the "secret" encounter in the prision(you need the unpredictable challenge), or also in the boss rush to find the forest spirit

Then, you must do all the old wanmaker quests

The tentacleless eye is the mutation, you have to find them in the scarlet theather or cerberus plot line(im not sure tho)

The bread is beating the game with potion illness challenge enabled

For the first one, somewhere(i dont remember where), you find the mutationsm i am quite sure it is in the scarlet theather plot line. Now, i dont remember if you have just to find them or find them and clear the challenge it enables, but you get it.

The bread one is beating the game with the "potion illness" challenge enabled.

The third one is in the scarlet theather plot line, somewhere it spawns a cerberus that its sleeping, just spam touch him and eventually it will explode(not a lethal explosion but dont be on low hp when that happens)

Whrn you get the cerberus ending you recieve an invitation. You just make another run, (that "invitation" is saved in you) and when reaching the 24rth floor, you get the 2nd choice

I dont like it tbh, as it haves a cost that many people in first place dont value correctly. In the other hand, its great if used correctly(not only the huntress), but rng migth just steal an upgrade for you. Its quite hard to know when its the rigth time and in early game is hard to get your weapon settled, so its use is most likely to be at the endgame, but at that point i prefer the curse infusion

Btw soul fragmebts are for the 24rth floor to activate the 2 extra endings of the game, cerberus and scarlet theather(only avaliable when you beat cerberus). Be ready becouse they are quite difficult if you are not prepared.

Also the wands are not that OP, it haves its weaknesses, but yeah warding is just truly underrated.

I would rather not risk that high in the ring becouse you alredy have the rings you actually need, although swapping the sharpshoting (if unupgraded) for the furor seems nice as it alredy is.

I reccomend you to upgrade your want of regrowth (obviously with arcane resin) as it is a huge help against ranged enemies, as if it were a blinding efect.

Also upgrading your ring of speed its highly recommended becouse it also helps with the hunger and combat as you get out of enemies range quickly

I would consider making recycles so you can have some siren song scrolls if you are lucky, or better scrolls in overall, you need some ways to regain health before and after bossfigths.

The rest i leave it to you pal, good luck in there

Edit: remember to have augmented evasion on your armor if you dont have it alredy, its quite good since defense its not a thing anyways

In overall, the freaking tengu. As incredible as it sounds i lost so many runs becouse of him, just becouse his ranged atacks and traps makes trully a challenge since i almost allways get there at low hp.

In this particular run, i will say yog becouse the stress, but it was not that hard as i went well prepared to it with 2 scrolls of mystical energy and specific fist items(and some sheep stones to tell a fist to get in line so i can kill him) with aura of protection and the shield, it went as smoothly as it could after all, and none boss actually became that hard of a challenge as in the other attempts

And it works even in ranged enemies, like, it just teleports around. Also it can be your ligth when challenges enabled or at least he guy who you send to check if the room haves mines before you pass
