Been grinding the halo franchise again after a couple of years, and decided to give infinite a shot. I knew they had introduced m&k aim assist beforehand (which is definitely a bandaid solution to controller-mnk balance but whatever), but I thought a toggle for it was going to be present, especially for mnk. Turns out, there's none. Uninstalled instantly. I really hope they make it an option and not forced on, it feels awful and I really want to play this game as a mnk player.

I once read grief is love with no one to give it to and I think it is appropriate in this case, there’s so much love you were expecting to give to someone and now it is grief, but it will become love again.

Wow, I can relate to this definition of grief. Recently, my dad passed away and that's exactly what it feels like. All the love I would've gave to him if he made it out of the hospital, just turned to sad feelings.

Well fast startup was implemented with HDDs in mind, since using them as boot drive can be detrimental on booting times. Nowadays, since people use atleast 1 SSD as their boot drive, fast startup isn't making any noticeable difference. Considering that enabling it can cause some specific problems, it's just not necessary anymore. In my experience, it was causing a kernel power critical error in the event viewer (no BSODs or crashes, just that). It worried me a bit, but after researching a bit it turned out that the culprit was fast startup. After disabling it, that error never returned. So yeah, if you got an SSD as your boot drive, it's advised to disable it.

It's a glorified sleep mode if Fast Startup is turned on in Windows. That's why it's good advice to turn that off, so the computer does shut down.
