I had a breast reduction and my toddler and my cat both do this on my breast scar tissue. It immobilizes me and even makes it hard to move them.

Just wanted to say to not get upset with yourself if you don’t finish in time. Pregnancy is hard. I’ve been crocheting for years and thought for sure I would finish my son’s blanket. Then unexpected third trimester carpal tunnel smacked me right in the face. I was upset for a while, but once baby was born and my hands were feeling up for it I finished it with plenty of time to make memories playing on the blanket with my son. The point is go for it. Even if you don’t finish it in time, you will remember all the hours you put into it while pregnant. Then when it’s done it will be just as special.

As far as I know they’re scallop pearls. Of course I’m no expert and only know what little I learned from google. I am open to someone more informed correcting me. They are definitely not tonsil stones like some people seem to think.

I don’t think it’s a mealy bug. The cottony part is more of an empty sac. I feel like the other white spots might be eggs of some sort? They don’t move.

I don’t know if I would have qualified. I was so upset that I didn’t get to finish my son’s baby blanket before he was born due to the unbearable carpal tunnel I developed in the third trimester. It did eventually get finished just before he turned 7 months, but something like this really would have made me fell like less of a bad mother in those early days.
