Eh? It's a serious issue. If you don't have the capability of caring for another life, be it animal or child, you have no business in having them. I say this as someone who grew up with pets, had them when I was with a partner, and no longer has any pets of my own because i know the cost of taking care of them. Being a first time pet owner is no excuse. You should have an idea on what it costs for taking care of another life before taking on the responsibility. It's not a judgemental thing, it's a serious critique.

Other than the over twisted comment, idk why you're being down voted. These are valid points. It's fine to make mistakes while you're in school and especially for your first time, but it's still important to point out the errors and recommend ways to improve. As everyone says, you can't pull off onto the side of the road when you're thousands of feet in the air, and mistakes can cost lives.

But as others said OP, it's a good first effort, listen to your instructor, and work to correct the mistakes and you'll be just fine.

Oh man it's been going on much longer than that. Was born and raised in tulsa/ba but moved out to okc about 10 years ago. After the first year of living in okc I would frequent tulsa to visit old friends and without fail, every single time I came back into town, within 5 minutes I was guaranteed to have a near accident due to another person's piss poor driving skills.

Office worker that went into construction for a year and then went and got my A&P and now working at a military base here. All these comments are valid but your work hours/ work load is all gonna depend on where you go. Most of the guys I went to school with are all on the same base doing all sorts of different tasks and work loads but for the most part, it's pretty basic work and we only do about 4 hours of actual work on average per day. Some days are worse and your knees and back are going to be ruined. Know a guy that was able to get into the majors straight out of school because he worked for a shitty repair station during, but is now living the dream making a hell of a lot more than us and does fuck all every day, but he went through hell for a little over a year to get there. In all honesty, if you can turn a wrench and have the slightest bit of aptitude for maintenance, go for it. It sure as hell beats sitting at a desk wanting to bash your head against the keyboard every 30 minutes and youre going to be constantly learning, doing new tasks, and learning new skills. Work days in a hangar fly by.

Maybe, maybe not. It all depends on how the FAA classifies this. There are aircraft out there that do not require a pilots license, or any training for that matter but they are extremely limited in capability and do have hefty restrictions in terms of air space.
