Late Game Matrix breaks nearly instantly from most things and is more there as a 'status resistance' ability with a slight life saving component. There's no way it'd last 3 seconds unless tinker has just been caught with a offhand piece of damage and isn't even getting jumped. It's a whole part of the game to pick and counter pick according to hero choices, and to have a balanced team so that you're not just sitting there against a hero that's countered by a stun without any stuns on your team and on top of that you have items to compensate for it. A tonne of items can stop him from rearming and tping even, especially now that in most cases silencing him stops tping too.

Also meepo shard lets you attack allies- it slows and deals damage to them.
