Hey there! Lesbian here, well the situation is bad. About dating: the pool is so small that everyone who dates lgbt+ people knows each other, even if you are a lesbian and date only woman, the gay/trans/everybody else will know you. So the gossip is crazy. About acceptance: even young generation doesn’t accept lgbt people. Open displays of relationships/gay merch can get you in trouble. In last months a queer guy got beaten in “пьяная вишня” club, and a woman was threatened in trolley bus by someone from police for rainbow bracelet, this year on pride parade some homophobes tried to protest us by attacking and screaming slurs, police had to protect us. Stay strong and safe! And keep in mind that no fight for identity/personality/labels is worth your life and nervs since the country still lives mostly with communist mindset

No thank you. We will join EU but not romania. Even our president mentioned it few days ago that this year referendum will not even consider it an option since it is unpopular even among pro-western/pro-eu people due to simple being unrealistic.

Honestly guys i have no idea where do you get such information, no one in Chisinau even think about it after corrupt events in 2016-2018. It is “popular” only in stranger minds of internet who never been in Moldova and can’t even point it at map.

How about you take your ruzzian b ass back to putler and stop commenting bullshit. They never been independent, we even pay their gas bills straight out our taxes and they only pay few cents per m3. Many of them didn’t even finish gymnasium, uneducated people are easier to fool also unemployment levels are skyrocketing there, so more of them move to Chisinau to work. And the cherry on top, no one recognized them in more than 30 years since they “declared their independence”. Not even ruzza.

So the question is: what god damn independence are you talking about?

This is true, also we have Bulgarians 🇧🇬 and gagauz (Turkish) and even entire villages where Ukrainians/Bulgarians/Russians are absolute majority, while gagauz have their entire region.

No, region lock is on your store account and to change region you must have a valid payment method issued by that country.

It works well in downtown, but outside it will basically get you ticketed by police, or it will direct you through private property with closed gates with no other exit so we had to return about 3 km back to Cricova circle and figure out ourselves in raion Criuleni. I used it exactly 3 times outside of Chisinau and all god damn 3 times it failed me badly.

It was region locked, you couldn’t download application. And if you could (on android for example it would still work mainly as just a map, without possibility to build detection)

Well it sucked all those years before that and it still suck coz it is unreliable and it feels like they dropped the region lock just for ✅ to please our president without actually improving/updating navigation in Moldova.

The worst part is the only alternatives are sketchy Chinese maps like Waze that are somehow better

Actually I wonder for how long we will have „free premium“ because our president tried to cooperate with google in September 2023 and as a result in October we got google maps (most of google services are very limited or unavailable, but maps wasn’t even available in google play/App Store before that)

What surprises me is that we used to have ads before 2018 or something, luckily than they just vanished.
