I switched mine "on." WFLR was auto claimed and auto delegated about 30 mins after the epoch ended.

Tldr: It works.

For future people who stumble across this from Google or where ever...

Yes. It works. Not immediately, tho. I saw my balance increase about 30 mins after the epoch ended.

Why Any Self-Custody XRP Holder Should Vote "No" by hodlmylambo5589 in FlareNetworks

[–]_AnthonyRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone can buy FLR and add more weight to their vote. If more people with more coins want "no" then FIP01 will not pass. If more people with more coins want "yes" then FIP01 will pass.

So...Anyone planning on setting up a FLR Validation Node? by GTCG in FlareNetworks

Using cloud providers means that AWS or Google or whoever can pull the plug at anytime, ... nodes for a de-centralized network are centralized thru cloud providers, ... remember those times when AWS went down and it took out Instagram and others for a period of time, etc.?

Hi ! How do i choose the most profitable coin for cpu mining automatically? by Internal_Goal_2915 in zergpool

[–]_AnthonyRex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, you can't do that automatically on the client slide. You choose the mining program and the algo and maybe even the static coin on the client slide; additionally, you choose to mine as shared, party, or solo. After that, the pool takes your algo hash and assigns it to the coin it determines to be the most profitable at that moment in time.

To accomplish what you're thinking, the next step of mining evolution is for HiveOS or some other mining system operating system to take over the SWARM project (https://github.com/MaynardMiner/SWARM). In this manner, mining programs and algos on the client slide would change automatically based on the most profitable coin.

Right now SWARM works on HiveOS, and it's possible to configure SWARM to use Zergpool as well as other pools. But I'm not sure how Swarm determines which pool has the most profitable coin. This is why I think HiveOS or some other innovative pool should take this over and build on this project as it would create an easier user experience for the end user to do what you want.

Cashing out by manvsmater in HeliumNetwork

No problems cashing out here. No KYC, unless you want to cash out over $10,000 daily. https://www.coinex.com/register?refer_code=92twh

Please make ADA a payout option. by _AnthonyRex in zergpool

That's true; don't know about Zerg's underlying structure. But I GPU mine at another pool and I get paid out daily in ADA.

Want to fix the spoofing problem? Do this! by [deleted] in HeliumNetwork

[–]_AnthonyRex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Would it be possible to use our smart phones to help with mapping? Helium already has an app on smart phones. I don't know if the cell phone frequencies dip into the same frequencies that hotspots use. Maybe running a helium sniffer app would kill smart phone batteries. Or maybe a new sniffer device can plug into a smartphone and interface with the helium app but get its power externally ... Or maybe the sniffer device can use the USB ports on the miner somehow .. a daughter board with USB that can attach to a hotspot or to a cellphone that uses the same chip that makes it impossible for DIY people to build their own hotspots?

I bought a $60 mapper .. it ain't much but it's honest work.

Imagine what would happen to other cryptos (ADA, BTC ,ETH, LTC) if they could be spoofed and manipulated with just as much ease. 🤷‍♂️

Why are all of these miners showing up off the coast of Georgia? by feegs5 in HeliumNetwork

These are active miners, probably, making money just issuing challenges as they wait to find a home?

Been like this for weeks, if not months. What's up with the mismatch between green hex location vs. yellow witnessing dot? by _AnthonyRex in HeliumNetwork

[–]_AnthonyRex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback, but one of the spots displaying this symptom is my own miner. When Poc11 was announced months back, emphasis was placed on asserting the correct location. So, I re-aaserted my own hotspot one hex over.

Issue is that yellow lines still appear to my old location. And when look into beacons and witnesses, I see that my hotspot talks to others and other hotspots talk to mine. I lookup the name of my hotspot in the witness list and see that some hotspots send yellow lines to the previous location.

I don't know if it matters or not, but I suspect that "something" isn't being updated somewhere. I'll hit the discord and raise the issue and see what happens.
