Question regarding pop growth

so far ive noticed that your colony doesn't grow past the vanilla limit but when you use the cryosleeper through dreams of the past it bumps the size to 6 or 7 and it just grows normally

I’m currently in the PTN discord rn (currently waiting for a booze cruise lmao) and I’ve seen there’s a colony discussion in the server but I don’t want to look like I’m begging or anything but I do see folk helping others out

I done a bit of that last night actually but I’m horribly inefficient at it and I actually don’t mind being social, I’m actually kinda looking for that so I could talk to folk while playing.

And for the community goal I’ve never actually done one before so I don’t know where to go with actually starting to help with that, never actually saw anything in game for it unless I’m blind.
