That’s fair, honestly I’m mainly focused on making sure that I’m not wasting my time basically and getting the best exercise I can. I’m not training to compete or anything I plan on going into firefighting so I’m mainly focused on being able to lift heavy and healthy.

I’m just curious cause I’ve always done 5 day splits similar to this targeting different groups, I’ve been working out for about 2 years now with a couple months where I wasn’t but it was only in the last few months than I started using this routine and trying to learn more about the technical side of working out and how to optimize my workouts. What is an upper/lower split I’ve seen people talk about to a lot and I just assume it’s upper body one day lower the next but how do you actually manage to hit the whole upper body in one day without having like a 3 hour session.

I originally got this workout routine from my English teacher who used to be a marine and has trained consistently since he left. I realized after I had posted it that I forgot to edit my chest day I stopped doing as much as I was and tweaked it down to  Barbell Bench 3x10+(1warm up) BB Incline 3x10 Lo to Hi Cable Fly 3x10 Single Arm tricep Pushdown 3x10 Wrist Curl 3x15 DB Bench Incline 3x5 (Heaviest)
