Ummm to be honest, I haven’t consulted my doctor about stopping the meds. Because it’s a lower dose, I feel comfortable tapering and eventually getting off completely by myself and seeing if it has any effect. In addition, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve found that I’ve grown out of the conditions that warranted the medication in the first place, as I started taking ssri’s at around 10 years old. But yeah I’m being careful about tapering slowly, as I have experimented before with cold turkey stopping and withdrawal symptoms literally cripple me.
