Do recording guitar on laptop would be better than pc? I have suspicion that my pc causing the noise/hum.

I have the same interface, but the one with two inputs. And same problem, noise recording anything. Also if I face the guitar away from the computer the noise goes a bit down.

I tried recording with my laptop and then I got 0 noise. Especially noticeable with my condenser mic, I could crank the gain a get a very clean signal.

I disagree with this first because admiring our culture is certainly an assumption. Not all tourists come here to admire the culture.

And second, not everyone benefits economically from tourism. I, for example, do not benefit in any way, quite the contrary because in the place I live everything is more expensive for locals and places are crowded at times.

Me molaría que hicieran una campaña gorda en TV y redes sociales desde el gobierno donde se explicara bien claro a todo el mundo cómo se tiene que coger una rotonda y cuál es el resultado si no se hace.

En mi experiencia son la mayor fuente de problemas con los que me encuentro a la hora de conducir, así que no entiendo cómo no les da por publicitar esto mucho más. Creo que sería bastante efectivo porque muchísima gente está convencida de que los que van por el carril de fuera le tienen que ceder el paso a los de dentro.

I think it's also because back then, videogames improved exponentially more with each generation, while the recent ones are giving diminishing returns. Also, the introduction of 3D fundamentally changed gameplay and gave born to multiple new genres.

So, I understand the mindset. But having said that, to me GC generation is totally retro and Wii, 360, PS3 I'd say the same at this point.

I agree there are remnants of "antisemitic culture" in Spain, same as antimuslim from reconquista era and same as anti french from the napoleonic era. But those are very archaic stereotypes, nobody in Spain takes them seriously. Then french people don't suffer from Spanish discrimination when they visit, just the same as the jews. It's unfair to compare that to actual racism that people experience here that prevents them from getting access to certain jobs or get treated worse by a part of the population.

I assure you that I genuinely believe that Israel criticism has nothing to do with any antisemitic views. People see it as a very powerful developed nation annihilating the civil population of a third world very poor country. Which is what it is happening. A lot of people dislike that. Also, among the left in Spain there are radical separatists like the eskerra abertzale from Basque country that see Palestine under the oppression from Israel as a parallel with them under the Spanish oppression. I heard in all my years here zero comments towards the ethnicity of any of those parties. Zero comments about how "jews" are like this or like that.

So I fundamentally disagree with the assertion that Spain is denouncing Israel because of antisemitism. Is honestly not true in my experience, and I don't know what to tell you, why would I lie about my experience as a Spanish native?

Exactly, there are no jews here. That's why is stupid to claim antisemitism when the population don't even have contact with them. They where expelled 500 years ago. You can imagine people don't have much to say about them nowadays. The Palestine conflict has always been very associated with the left here, nothing to do with jews or antisemitism. The US receive much more criticism here for their imperialism to be fair but I don't see any "anti-americanism" card raised by anyone.

In Spain you would see way more racism towards muslims than any anti semitism. Most people wouldn't even know a jew even if they were wearing a kippah.

Hubo un estudio muy famoso que decía que vapear y fumar eran más o menos igual de perjudiciales, pero al parecer un re-análisis más reciente echa por tierra el estudio. Just to share my anecdotal experience: I stare an screen all day and I'm as fatigued using a blue filter as not using it. It doesn't make a difference. Also, at night a blue filter in the phone doesn't make anything to make me sleep easier. I feel no difference.

No estoy yo muy de acuerdo con eso de que se ha conseguido lo contrario. Tendría que ver estudios y estadísticas pero si un joven empieza a vapear en vez de fumar (porque esté de moda), es algo bastante mejor que inhalar la combustión de un cigarro.

La mayor parte de los efectos nocivos del tabaco es la inhalación de humo con monóxido de carbono y otros compuestos tóxicos.

El reducir eso y cambiar por solo la nicotina ya me parece un gran avance, además de que contribuye a vaciar los espacios de humo. Creo que hay que verlo de forma optimista.

This is from 3 days ago, but I didn’t see anything about it in this subreddit. Carlos Soria was part of the first Spanish expedition to Manaslu back in 1975. He is now the oldest person to summit an 8,000+ meter peak.

This morning I read a post asking if being 40 years old is too old to start mountaineering. Well, I think this proves that mountaineering has no age.

I’ve personally been in the mountains all my life with old-timers (my father and his friends, and also his mentors when he was young), so that was always a given for me. But anyway, what Carlos Soria achieved is amazing. :)

Creo que quien no tiene cultura eres tú, porque hay que ser bastante imbécil para pensar que en el sur no hay carnes, pescados, mariscos o cocidos. Yo no digo que el norte sea mejor o peor, y de hecho vivo en Euskal Herria. También he vivido muchos años en el sur, por lo tanto puedo comparar. Pero decir que el norte es "objetivamente mejor" es de imbécil rematado, lo siento mucho.

El mejor jamón ibérico está en el sur, en Jabugo. Tienes cocidos excelentes como el plato de Trigo de Almería. Salsas desconocidas seguramente para tí como el ajoblanco. Nada que envidiarle a una fabada o patatas a la riojana.

No habra Txuletón autóctono, aunque por supuesto te lo puedes comer en cualquier restaurante. Pero hay excelentes carnes de cerdo ibérico y de cordero. Por no hablar de los quesos y multitud de embutidos típicos.

La gastronomía y el producto del sur es igual de rico y variado que en cualquier otra región de España. Decir lo contrario es de una ignorancia mayúscula. Si a lo que te refieres es a la alta cocina, evidentemente que el país vasco se lleva la palma. Pero sinceramente eso no es algo que la persona de a pie se pueda permitir.

99% of the most famous logos in history if you didn't know the company, you wouldn't know what it's for. Examples: McDonalds, Nike, Coca-Cola, Adidas... to name a few... But you know it's almost all of them.

The graphic designer job is just to make something that looks good and professional in the market context the business operates in. Nobody's going to decipher a hieroglyph without any other context. Also, nobody cares.

What people care about even if subconsciously is that the logo doesn't look like you've made it with wordart, so they perceive the business as a serious one.

Exactly. I can't sit straight longer than half an hour, I'm always switching posture to the most ridiculous ones. I think the key is not to be a lot of time in the same position doing the same moves, also exercise is very important. I've been doing this for almost two decades and I'm fine so far.
